Technology Support Ministry Roles

Team Leader

The Team Leader is responsible to the Pastor for the oversight of the Technology Support Ministry including the selection and development of individuals to perform in the various roles necessary for the technological support of church services and other events. Additionally this role will be responsible for producing an annual budget proposal and administering the budget throughout the year. The team leader will coordinate activities of the various roles within the team, provide teambuilding support and build a robust technological capacity with seamless delivery. This role will coach others in leadership function and train an alternate Team Leader to support these functions.


Media Design

The Media Design role is responsible to the Technology Support Ministry Team for the development of graphic and textual presentation material for Proclaim and other platforms to support visual presentations for church services and other events. This role coaches others in the use of Proclaim as a graphics editor and presentation platform and trains an alternate function leader and develops a team of substitutes to support this function.


Production Management

The Production Management role Is responsible to the Technology Support Ministry Team for oversight of production of church services and other events using the Proclaim platform and other software applications. This role will coordinate all presenters and Audio Production personnel in the execution of audio and video recording. Coaches others in the use of proclaim as a graphics editor and presentation platform. Trains an alternate function leader and develops a team of substitutes to support this function.


Audio Control

The Audio Control role is responsible to the Technology Support Ministry for the oversight of the audio production for church services and other events to include real-time amplification within and external to the sanctuary, distribution and preset of headsets and microphones, testing of all systems prior to events and on-time recording when required.


Facebook Management

The Facebook Management role is responsible to the Technology Support Ministry Team for content on the Glory Bound Fellowship Facebook page. This role will continually peruse contributions to the page and control access levels for users. The editor will work with the rest of the Technology Support Ministry Team members as well as the Pastor to develop content and format that will aid members of the church as well as those outside in finding pertinent, useful and interesting information that will attract future returns to the page and attendance at church functions. This role will coach others in the systems integration function and train an alternate Team Leader to support these functions.


CD Duplication & Distribution

The CD Duplication & Distribution role is responsible to the technology support Ministry for the burning and distribution of CDs of weekly sermons to be distributed to local and out of area subscribers. This role will be responsible for projecting needs for supplies and ordering them proactively to avoid production delays. This role will coach others in the CD production and distribution function and train an alternate Team Leader to support these functions.


Prerecorded Music Management

The Prerecorded Music Management role is responsible to the Technology Support Ministry for the selection of appropriate prerecorded, licensed music in the absence of live music for church services and other events. Content will be typical to that used at the church and categorically approved by the Pastor. This role will coach others in the Prerecorded Music Management function and train an alternate Team Leader to support these functions.


Audio and Video Editing

The Audio and Video Editor is responsible to the Technology Support Ministry for the editing of audio and video recordings for this attribution to appropriate venues. Audio recordings will be prepared in a format and length appropriate to burning on a CD by the CD Distribution Team. This function will also take responsibility for editing and uploading videos of church services or copying special events for distribution via the web or DVDs. This role will coach others in the Audio and Video Editing function and train an alternate Team Leader to support these functions.


Systems Analysis & Implementation

The Systems Analysis & Implementation role is responsible to the Technology Support Ministry Team for integration of all technological systems within the church including all, audio, video, computer other technology-based systems. This role will be responsible for assisting the team leader in the development of an annual budget to cover maintenance and repair as well as additional and replacement assets. This role will coach others in the systems integration function and train an alternate Team Leader to support these functions.


Website Development

The Website Development role is responsible to the Technology Support Ministry Team for content on the Glory Bound Fellowship Facebook page. This role will determine what material is appropriate for posting on the site and maintain current see in management of special events, calendar and other periodic and unique announcements. The developer will work with the rest of the Technology Support Ministry Team members as well as the Pastor to develop content and format that will aid members of the church as well as those outside in finding pertinent, useful and interesting information that will attract future returns to the page and attendance at church functions. This role will coach others in the systems integration function and train an alternate Team Leader to support these functions.
